So today's wii review is a special one. In the tradition of romance and all that other garbage I decided that I would give you all a special treat. Today I review a bad dating simulator. So what is it?

No not that. I enjoyed Sakura Wars...It's a good game actually....no I have the actual perfect game in mind.

Yeah that's more like it.

Okay so here we go. This game is  loosely based of a movie I never saw, so this is straight out of wikipedia here. Beastly is a romantic fantasy drama loosely based off a novel which is a loose retelling of Beauty & the Beast. With so many loose ends it's no wonder this game sucks so bad...and worse yet...I lied. That's right it's not even a dating simulator. It's a sad adventure/mini game disaster.

You see you don't play as the main characters in the movie. No that would make too much sense. Instead you choose your random male/female character where you'll often find yourself helping out the main characters with things such as counting votes or practicing their golf swing in various minigames.

The "adventure" portions require you to travel from one spot to another to do menial tasks, such as pulling fire alarms or arriving at spots to take pictures. Meanwhile, the minigames are either too simple or aren't well thought out. Some, like a rhythm minigame, fail to take into account controls, so you're hitting buttons with no consequence. It has you pushing buttons in time, but the music doesn't match the rhythm at all.

The graphics look like an upscaled DS title. Characters look bland, the bad music repeats over and over, and rewards are clips from the movie. If the clips are anything to go by...I'm sure glad I missed it.

Analysis: This game is beastly...pun entirely intended in a bad way

Alright so what is the next game to face my wrath?
