As much as I belly-ached about Valentine's yesterday, it was mostly in jest. I had my own fun with the love of my life, food. Mmm Little Ceasar's. Funny how what's a "cheat day" for me now is totally within my calorie limits. It's just the carbs that get me. Why do I do these things? Because I want a six pack just once in my life. I know that's genetic, but I do think I'm genetically ok to get one should I lose enough body fat. The running is definitely helping as I actually lost weight after Friday's binge and was one hundred and ... wait for it ... 69 pounds on Valentine's Day! How appropriate.
I played more of Last of Us Remastered yesterday, downloaded and played Apotheon and played my Steam copy of Hotline Miami for a bit. I'll go into further detail on my thoughts on these in plus10damage articles I plan to write.
I'll say this: I like games where I can play in levels, not just in short bursts, even if the game does load rapidly. The other article will be about my first time owning a console beyond the Gamecube generation and what I think of these new console-computers as someone who's a bit of an outsider on the subject due to skipping a generation and playing catch-up with Steam on my laptop.
Anywhoo, today I need to write my editorial for my newspaper and I'd like to run and do some laundry. I might want to buy more collared Oxford shirts though, I look good in them. Love t-shirts, but don't like feeling like I look so young. Oxfords make me feel a bit more like someone who's about to turn 25 like I am.
How are y'all?
Yeah, I think we've only ever had hot n readys and italian cheese bread an crazy bread ... actually, no we've had a flat crust veggie pizza from then and it was crap in my opinion. I recommend sticking to what they know, which does not go beyond cheese and pepperoni.
That's part of why I bought a new console aside from the DVR and Blu Ray benefits (and PSN+ which is like Steam if not free, but there are free games for it I'm more into than Steam's freebies): optimization questions really make me too nervous. I mean how the hell did Tomb Raider 2013 run fine on normal settings yet Limbo crashed my laptop and I had to lower the frame rate on Resident Evil 4 HD?
I'm envious you've made the console jump. I discovered I'm not as far behind on my rent as I originally thought, which gives me a little left over from tax refunds. I feel like I need to reward myself with something, but I think I'm going with a pair of running snowshoes and a good pair of trail running shoes instead of a console.
