So I'm a week behind, wanna make something of it? I'll catch up this week at some point.

No excuse, other than the weather sucks and I have been in hibernation mode. I read, I watch a movie or TV show or two, I game, I shovel. Wash, rinse, repeat. Toss in a snowshoe race, an exciting wildlife sighting, and buying an over-priced roof rake and clearing a couple of feet of snow off the cottage roof and there's my entire week, give or take.

Expect short blurbs until I catch up and don't feel like you need to comment on all of them.

A roof rake? That's something you wouldn't see here in Texas.

It's not really what I would consider a rake, more like a shovel with the head attached at a 90 degree angle. And no, I don't expect there's much call fo them in Texas.

Maybe in Lubbock, where it actually might snow?

And hibernation is about what I did over the weekend. Only went out for pizza, candy and exercise. Odd combo that.

I hauled two feet of snow off my roof. Well, half of the roof. Each storm we've had has been accompanied by high winds, so one side of my roof was clear, the other had two feet of snow on it.

I wish I was left alone enough to just sleep. I haven't had a good sleep in a while.

I'm still fitting in Lost Odyssey when I can. I made it to the 2nd disc.

Is it getting easier now that I threw a bunch of tips at you? And you won't get the best party member until the third disc...

Thanks for the advice. It has been easier. The kids have helped a lot and it doesn't seem to take forever to level up anymore.

I really like how in Lost Odyssey you have a five member team. Most rpg's are 3 or 4 members, but having five in combat is a unique experience. I really liked that.

At least you're back and that's the main thing. The snow hasn't been too bad this week but it's been blowing around pretty good and our previously cleared deck looks like this.

Yeah, the blizzard yesterday missed us completely, but I still have a five foot snow drift to contend with from the game force winds last night. At least the water heater pipes didn't freeze this time, knock on wood.

Well, no, gale force winds. But I kinda like the sound of game force winds. It would make for an awesome excuse: "I'm sorry, I can't come out today, there are game force winds blowing and I have to stay home and finish Tales of Xillia 2."

I've been watching the weather because I have a couple of friends back east and that is some serious snowstorms going on. I was telling my friends I would glady exchange some of the above average warm weather here with you guys just so it can be a cool 70 degrees and you guys can warm up a bit.
