BaD #11: Purchased Minecraft PS4

Since I'd purchased the PS3 version for my son last month, I figured I'd go ahead and drop the 5 bucks for the PS4 version.  Surprise, surprise - there's really no visual difference.  I spent about 10 minutes playing through a portion of the tutorial prior to my eyelids involuntarily lowering, so I turned it off and ended up falling asleep on the couch.

I'll probably get back around to playing it on my day off at some point, though to be honest....I've got a lineup of games I'm going to be playing that day.

That's all for now!

My nephew is really into Minecraft and downloaded it onto my 360 when he was visiting so I could try it out, but I just couldn't get into it. I love the concept, but it's just not the type of game that holds my interest. Have fun with it, though.

Not sure how long I'll be into it either.  For 5 bucks though, it's worth a shot.

You'd be silly not to for that price, lol.

My mom is using Minecraft in her classes so I may just get that for $5 and see if I can't help her out with some things. She was looking for books about it over Christmas.

I swear Minecraft is like crack for kids. My cousins play that game on tablets, on their PC, and on the PS4. When they are not playing it, they are watching vids on how to play it. I can't get into it. You would think the concept is very similar to Lego which should be up my alley but I bought it on my then Android Tablet and never touched it.

Minecraft is one of the games that either you like or you dont. I know the benefit on the ps4 is bigger worlds I can a test to that since me and Dan went exploring on my candy filled one and while he luckily made it back I had to die to get back. Alot of the texture packs are great to play on, I have the steampunk and Candy land one.

I purposely stayed away from Minecraft because I'm afraid I'd get addicted to it like Animal Crossing.

I liked it, but after I chased down all the achivements, I kind of lost interest. I need some sort of goal in a game. Just building stuff gets boring to me pretty quick.
