I missed the whole Digimon craze. Or maybe I was just too old by the time it happened. I watched Pokemon way back when, but that was about it. I never would have guessed that series is about to have it's 15th anniversary.

I've been trying to make these blogs have titles with references to certain entries in certain series, which is getting harder to do, because I'm not sure how many series of anything have reached 15+ installments. But apparently, Digimon is getting a 15th Anniversary (who knew?) reboot this year, so let's go with that as the reference in today's blog title: http://moviepilot.com/posts/2014/10/11/digimon-adventures-set-to-return-for-15th-anniversary-series-2335208?lt_source=external,manual
I have no idea where it's airing and it seems to be a Japan-only thing from what I've read, but I'll check it out if it comes out on Netflix or something. I watched the first series as a kid and caught a bit of the second, but I haven't thought about this series since probably age 11 or younger aside from when the original seasons hit Netflix. And even then, I only watched a couple episodes.
Sorry to ramble about this, I just wasn't expecting that when typing "15th in series" into Google this morning," so I'm a bit amused.
Anyway, yesterday I played a couple levels in Rayman Legends and did the daily challenge just so I could get the gold trophies in the levels and make sure to get at least a silver trophy in the online daily challenge. One of these days I'll get a gold one. One of these days ...
I still don't really like how heavy Barbara feels, but I guess she is better for certain levels, especially since her image is on the paintings leading to said levels.
Also played some more of The Last of Us Remastered and got past a section that was giving me some trouble. I was disappointed becuase I wanted to keep a certain vehicle, but I won't give anything away. So far I'm not seeing why the game got so many Game of the Year honors, but there's more to come obviously, so we'll see. I can't complain, since I got it for free.
I also managed to be productive in my office and at home, getting some new music uploaded to the station while training the new guy and reading the last chapter I needed to for this week in my Media History book. I liked these chapters a lot more since American idealism was a lot more apparent in them, when the previous chapters had been more the ugly side of early America. Going to write my discussion post for that class today as well as tweak my resume and hopefully do some laundry before waking up at 6AM tomorrow to carpool to a conference in Ft. Worth. I'd love to land a job with KERA, WFAA, or The Dallas Morning News in some capacity (that's where fellow Pixlbit Cary Woodham worked for a while), so the trip will be worth it to meet some of them and hand over my resume at least. Gotta dress sharp.
Also, I ran 4.7 miles in about 45-46 minutes doing intervals yesterday. I'd share the Runkeeper thing with you, but the app keeps crashing. Or just giving me a screen of the app's cover image. It's annoying. I think I burned about 437 or so calories doing that, which is good, since I ate some quesadillas with refried beans and rice and had some drinks later that night. Considering the only other thing I had was a protein shake for breakfast that morning though, I don't think it makes too much of a difference really. Especially not when I do cardio like this and lift weights so often.
Now to get this morning's protein shake taste out of my mouth.
How are you all?
