Well before the weekend kicks in I thought I’d share in all that I was able to get during my birthdays this year. Like I said in prior posts, it’s not as crazed as last year due to budgetary requirements, but still the bdays haul is impressive. First off the big one.

Nintendo Wii U Deluxe Bundle.

This would explain why my Xmas gifts from “teh wife” were what they were back in December. I’m not sure how she pulled it off but she was able to find me a bundle pack that came with the game discs, instead of the games themselves being installed in the system’s hard drive. I should’ve known what she was up to when she asked me two weeks ago if I had a choice of what system I wanted.

SNK/Flash Sale buys.

“Teh Wife” also gave me some PSN cards so I went all out on buying what was available on PSN during the SNK and Flash Sales. I got the following from SNK.

My dream in having all the SNK compilation titles digitally on my PSP is now complete. I debated on getting the Neo Geo Station Bundle for PS3 but decided against it given that I have some of the games offered already on my PS2/PSP and the rest of the games I wasn’t interested in. I instead got Ultimate Shooting since you can’t have enough SHUMPS on the PSP (and it came with KOF Sky Stage). I almost didn’t get Metal Slug Double XX until I learned that was an enhanced version of Metal Slug 7. And since I now own Metal Slugs 1-6 digitally I thought why not!

Honestly there wasn’t much that I was interested in this Flash Sale but still enough to keep me interested. I’ve always wanted Hard Corps Uprising and SSFIITHDR. The last two fighting games were just impulse buys given how I missed out in getting the PS2 physical copy of Capcom vs SNK 2 awhile back. I also wasn’t planning on getting KoF 99 but since I own most of them now thanks to the KoF Collection I might as well add ’99 to the list for PSP playability.

 

Physical buys and more points cards.

I also got this PSP game at the clearance rack at Target. I mostly wanted it for the PSP camera. I could’ve bought a third party camera but I wanted the official Sony item. Not sure if I’ll use it often enough nor do I think I’ll even get around to the game. It’s still in the shrink wrap in came in.

 

As I said I got Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U but have yet to play it given that I drained the battery on the Gamepad for Super Mario 3D World. Instead I used the Wii points cards to buy some choice titles off the Wii Shop. Those titles are.

I still have some credits left on my Wii and my PSN account so who knows what I’ll get later.

That’s the breakdown so far. As you can see I have my weekend set for myself. Hopefully I can get caught up on things with BaD. One more week to go all!
