First some news.

Huge Vita sale starting tomorrow on PSN 

There are probably 10 games or more I would snap up from this if I had the money.

Since Dan hasn't been doing the weekender I'll cover a couple of categories here.

Gaming

Alex wins the big prize for correctly guessing that I would buy Danganronpa II before actually playing the first game.

So to make up for that I played a hour or two of the first game Trigger Happy Havoc. At first I was thinking "what the feck have I done?" but as I started realizing what it was about and that I wouldn't just be pressing X for several hours I got more into it.

Staying with the PS TV I played a little bit of Gods Eater Burst and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Two games that I found quite similar.  I wasn't very good at GEB and didn't really like the camera control. The Monster Hunter game I had much better luck with although I ended up putting two pieces of meat on the ground and couldn't figure out how to pick them up again. Luckily there was another animal in the vicinity to kill and gather from so it all worked out.

I got a little bit further in Suikoden II and played the first Major Battle in which I controlled all the units. Major Battles play like SRPG battles but up until now your units were on autopilot and you only controlled the one unit you were in. I don't like them much. Not sure if I like the ones in the first game more or less. Heck I don't like either of them but they aren't really a major focus except for not letting anyone die which can ruin your whole game

Reading

I'm half way through Forever Odd, the second book in the series. It's still dark, creepy and funny at the same time but I'll wait until I'm finished to judge it overall.
