haven't seen Hugo yet. I don't know who uses camera movement better, Scorsese or Spielberg.
I'm feelin a bit slow today. Couldn't sleep the night before last and was up for about 35 hours. Finally slept last night and just feel blah now.

I was watching my copy of Hugo on Blu Ray yesterday and just thinking about how much money must have went into all those sets and all the time and effort that went into building them and just what a huge task the movie was for something that ... I thought was ok overall and probably didn't amuse the kids it was aimed at all that much. It's a great movie, don't get me wrong, and I love how it's a film that acts as a love letter to film and is also a Martin Scorsece kids' movie. But it didn't exactly grab me by the balls, visually arresting and well-written as it is. Don't know why.
Also watched some Yu-Gi-Oh on Netflix before going to bed. Forgot how dark that show could get with suicide threats and soul stealing and whatnot. I always wanted one of those throwing discs Yu-Gi-oh and Kaiba played with that turned random places into virtual battle arenas.
Played some The Last of Us as well. I'm getting annoyed at this part where I turn on a generator and the giant clicker throws a molotov cocktail at me. I know I need to run, but I was so tired last night that I just wanted to stand there and shoot.
Then I played some Rayman Legends and did the daily (or was it the weekly?) challenge. Should have another silver cup. Can never seem to get gold. Bah humbug. I still don't really like playing with Barbara compared to Rayman, but I've gotten used to her heaviness. Only a few more Teensies to save. This game seems like a neverending collectathon. I mean people got on Rare's ass for this, but damn Ubisoft!
Anyway, production day for the newspaper and I'm a bit annoyed, because I still need to work on my thesis meeting for Thursday. I hate how Tuesdays are just gone for me for a job that only pays $80/month, but it is what it is and looks decent on a resume to have two jobs and be working on a Master's I guess.
Speaking of which, anyone see some good jobs being advertised lately? Have a good day!
Yeah. A lot of Ubisoft games are like that. I had tried getting the platinum trophy in Rayman Origins because I liked the game so much, but gave up in the end. I got better things to do than collect a bunch of useless crap and try to perfectly nail those speed runs.
