Looks good. I love SRPGs and this one doesn't seem like just another FF Tactics clone. Consider me interested.

So I know I did a reveiw on this game not long ago but with this being one of my favorite ps2 games I figured I would tell you all a little more about it,the over world map in soul nomad is very interesting and look at this pic below.
And this is the way the over world looks well in battle mode, and you can see in the command window you will see gig eddict which is gig your sword or better the demon in your swirds special attack which essentially perks that can change the battle drastically , then you will notice design and what this means is you organize different squads in what they call rooms which is nothing more then different formation slots which to organize your troops like you would want to put archers and mages in the rear to where knights soldiers and the type up front well basicly design means arranging your troops in a room which you can buy rooms unlock rooms etc,so this is all on this screen I wanted you to see.
So these are how the rooms look as you can see the rooms are individual squares with combinations of troops and the really cool thing about this is they pull off chains depending on the combination of troops you mix in an example is, say you have archers in the rear clerics in the middle and fighters up front when you attack your soldiers attack the enemy while your archers chain and shoot arrows at the same time then the healers heal your party giving you a three chain combo which causes more damage because of the combo.
Then finally this is the actual battle screen where the combos etc come together, and this is just the battle aspect of the game, I will probaly cover another aspect of the game in the future, but for thoughs of you interested in this game I wanted to explain a little more clearly on how to play the game in the battle aspect, its a really different but excellent game.
