The new journey: A PS4 experience

Normally, I'd be a balla playing my 360 but it was last year that killed me gaming wise.

Why?

Well, because when your last vestige of 360 decides to red ring . You start questioning how they're made. You start to get really angry and want to eat angry toast on angry jam.

The world becomes a shit fest.

I trusted you Microsoft and you took a mean shat on that trust.

And so when that happens...

It is really time to move on. I think for me that time was after all the frustration and bullshit Microsoft put me through. It's not that Microsoft is bad it was just time to move on.

So that's what I did.

As I type this I am looking at an amazing piece of hardware, the PS4. There was a time I despised fucking Sony. I hated them. I just would always tell people buy an Xbox, buy a Xbox 360. Sony sucks. Boy! For me it seems that times have changed. And I have changed into someone that can appreciate Sony now. It only took a very long time. Now in terms of superiority the Xbox One and PS4 are almost identical. But I have already hashed and re-hashed that shit.

I want to discuss why I think the PS4 is great. So far from owning one there's no red ring.

The UI is awful. I can look past it. Playstation Network hooks me up with really good games.

ie: Transistor and Pantheon

The controller isn't as good as the Xbox One but it will grow on me. Last of Us remastered is just a great reason to own a PS4. Persona 5! Well, even though I've never played it.

Also, for me Bloodborne is really reason enough. I think this was a smart switch and a good one.

Right now though both consoles don't have that much to offer.

So I'll just go back to talking with Ellie now.
:)

If Sony would make and release Loco Roco 3, I'd instantly buy a PS4 or Vita.

I kinda like the UI.

I don't have much to compare it to, but it definitely doesn't bother me. And the controller has grown on me too, even though when I played these systems at kiosks, I preffered the One's.

Even though I owned both an Xbox and a 360 I've always hated Microsoft. Not a fanboy hate but a hate that comes from watching them destroy companies with superior competing products so they could foist their second rate poorly written software and ridiculously convoluted proprietary standards on the world. It's a hate that goes back all the way to the 90's.

That was deepened by the shit they tried to pull with the Xbox One and later changed their tune when they realized that they couldn't dictate to gamers in the same way they do with companies who need Windows PCs and Networks.

So Yay on getting a PS4.:)

I liked Xbox until Xbox One, now I'm not so sure. PS4 looks a little better to me right now, but I'm still not too interested in the new systems quite yet.
