well, my handle before I joined the staff was "Sneenlantern."  No special meaning, but I just thought it was cool to take Green Lantern and my name "Snee" and make it Sneenlantern.  That's my handle for PSN, etc.  

I’ve got a pretty boring name and a boring story.  Mine is from around the time when my family first got internet and practically everyone had a string of numbers at the end of their name.  I was creating a name for the first site that I ever joined (I think it was a King’s Quest fan site) and used “bullet” since it was my childhood dog’s name.  The “656” came from attempting a bunch of different number combos (1, 2, 420, 666, etc).  Finally I just put 656 and it accepted it, and I’ve been using it ever since.  I kind of feel foolish having a string of numbers still attached to my name, but it makes remembering my user-name for various sites easier.

No judgment about the weed smoking.  I’m 34 and only recently “quit” about 6 months ago.  I use quotations because my long-time connection dried up and I have no idea where to get it from now.  Most of my friends quit smoking long ago, and I wouldn't really feel very comfortable going around my office and asking my co-workers if they had any connections.

Hey I haven't smoked in about 20 years but that is only because I no longer have connections and I was never one to go looking for it.

Mothman came from The Mothman Prophecies because I'd just seen the movie and was fascinated by the supposed facts. My biggest problem was that on many sites Mothman was taken and one of those was 1UP so I went by Themoth there because I refuse to put numbers after my name. I know it would have been cooler if I'd taken the name from The Watchmen but I didn't so there you go.

I've been thinking about changing my name to Peter because I'm kind of tired of mothman but I guess I'll keep it for now.

Originally I used GoAztexs on Instant Messenger in college (the old school text message app) so when I signed up on 1Up/and other message boards I went with GoAztecs because it was available. It just refers to the cheer that SDSU uses. 

Super Step on here was because I wanted to get as far away from my real name as possible and I had a Superman shirt, so why not?

My handle on PSN and Steam, JimBeamHortonWho just came to me randomly in my head as Jim Beam Horton hears a Who. I like Jim Beam w/ Dr. Pepper when it's not watered down and I guess I was thinking of Dr. Seuss at the time. I don't remember that book or its movie at all. 

I used to have the handle genresrforposers when I was younger because I got tired of all the bitching that went on about what categories music fit into on ultimate-guitar.com forums. 

I thought up a new name just for Pixlbit just because. I figured I drive at night for my job and I like RPGs, so why not KnightDriver, and it also referenced an old Atari game I played as a kid, Night Driver. I used a screenshot from the game on my DS and then photoshopped the car a little bigger to make a better thumbnail image. I kinda don't like referencing my job though, because it's an embarrasment to me, but that's what I was thinking about when I created my account here, and I guess it's gotta stick now. I'm also thinking of getting a screen shot of games with night diving from different eras and using those. I don't want to be always thought of as "that guy who plays Atari games". I mean, I do sometimes, but not a lot.
