Hello there Picklebits, hope your weekend is going well.
Yesterday I preordered Xenoblade Chronicles for my 3DS, I can't wait to pick it up. I hope I'm finished Persona Q by then. I'm in dungeon 4 right now, 80% done the first floor. I was stuck for a while until I realized I fucked up my map and missed a whole section.
I really enjoy how you have to think through dungeons in this game, I guess there are situations you can muscle your way through but that's a hard road too.
If I can pull it off the next system I'm going for is a Wii U. I would like to have one for Xenoblade Chronicles X so if I have to sell something it will be for that. I will look into a PS4 after that but I'm in no hurry. My PS3 still has lots of games left for me to play.

I worked on my website for most of the day. Then I drank some beer and had supper. It was very warm here, in the 80's. I played some Final Fantasy X too, but not much, I got distracted. I'm in the middle of facing Seymour once again of course.
I like Picklebits. Here's some now.

I'm still on the 3rd dungeon in Persona Q. I hadn't played it a few days. I was a bit stuck, but I figured out how to get pass my problem. When I did get passed the problem, I put the game on hold. I'll probably play Monday night at work.
I'm on the second floor of the 4th dungeon right now. I'm taking a break because I've been playing way too much and I need to do something else like read for a while.
I shouldn't be playing anything right now. I have a test for work coming up Friday. If I pass the test, I get another bump in pay. I hadn't studied at all. 
I feel as though I shouldn't be as turned on by the term Picklebits as I am right now.
My picklebits are tingling. LOL
I'm currently going through the Stone Tower Temple in Majora's Mask for the second time. I got lost the first time around with one stray fairy left to find and couldn't find my way to the boss room, so I need to find the Boss Key again as well.
My brother was definitely more of the 'muscle through' type in Persona Q. Part of the reason he gave up on the game was due to not having that option enough in later parts.
Yeah you are definitely forced to use a problem solving process to come up with solutions starting in dungeon 3. You can't solve the room puzzles in that dungeon or the "light the torches" puzzles in dungeon 4 by killing things.
The WiiU sounds like a good choice especially if you start collecting Amiibos, which I'm assuming you can use the same figures on both the 3DS and WiiU. I don't think you're missing too much by not having a PS4, and by the time you decide to get one, there should be a price drop.
My thinking exactly Chris, and yes, 1 amiibo fits all.
