EA censors their Customer Service phone number

Yeah, so if you type a regular phone number on the EA SimCity forum (And perhaps other EA forums?) it posts just fine. If you type EA's customer service phone number, the number winds up censored. Isn't that the opposite purpose of having customer service?

I wonder if they see all this SimCity chaos as free marketing...
