GLaD: T: DS, TLoU, PS+, Abbrevs!

I'm in the part in The Last of Us where Ellie is talking to David. David sounds like Trey Parker and/or Matt Stone and the fact they are in either Utah or Colorado is not at all helping the fact I can't take this guy seriously because he sounds like a South Park character. Also makes me think of a certain musical ... wondering if this was intentional.

I've played the tutorials of Valiant Hearts, New and Tasty, and Counter Spy. I like Valiant Hearts and New and Tasty's style visually, but I love the visuals AND gameplay of Counter Spy.

I liked Valiant Hearts a lot. I reviewed it for Pixlbit.

Are you still enjoying TLOU, despite the voices? DO u think you're close to the end? I really want to play that.

Well, despite the one guy's voice, yes. The voice acting overall is top notch, it's just that one guy whose resemblance to a South Park character is hard to get over. And he's by no means voice acting poorly. If I couldn't hear the resemblance his performance would be fine. But I do hear the resemblance, so ...

Very nice and fair review of Tormentum. The artstyle is pretty much what brought my interest and your review does make me prepared to what I may expect so I don't get dissapointed. I'm also slowly getting more into the point-and-click genre.

Finally, get a damn mouse :P

Nice review Joe! All I can really say is that I definitely know how you feel about optimization issues. I was kind of amazed that Tomb Raider ran so smoothly lol. I got my fingers and toes crossed for GTA V.

Sounds like an interesting game. I do like that games have the good and evil endings, even though I usually go with the good ending. inFamous does this, and I tried going evil on the first game but never completed the game. Anyways I liked the review and I didn't know Giger did that microphone stand.

Yeah, the lady mic was the picture associated with the review until David edited it. lol

And I tried to get the good ending in Tormentum the first time I played it but didn't pay enough attention to the symbols which give you good vs. evil choices. I genuinely feel bad when I make the evil choice in some games. Granted, I had no problem being a dick when I was achievement hunting, but to me that's a totally different context. lol
