----SPOILERS-------

Good Lord!

Transistor was not the game I'd thought Super Giant Games would make.

The story is off the damn wall. Understanding what the fuck is going on? Is like///yeah but what happened to this? And what does this mean.

We are left with a lot of ambiguity and for this reason I liked Bastion better.

Transistor is a stellar game game play wise. Planning out moves a couple steps ahead in real time is great. The color pallate is all together breath taking. The story jumbles and jives around like a snake that doesn't know if it is a snake or a gopher mutant. This bothered me.

Ambiguous things in the story. Moreover not things but just moments. The splashes of color just set up some brilliant scenery. And on top of that your main character is roxorz. She is beautiful but there's something about her. A jen-ai-sai-quoi to her.

I loved her.

I think the narrator is pretty cash as well but that may be debatable.

I am not spoiling much but might as well post a spoiler.

The main part of the story the --process was extremely neat. Bits and pieces of the story I was on board with. But cohesively you're like what the fuck? I am Red. Yeah. I wield the Transistor but then it hits you with this Super Giant twist. And I am all like rad. Yes, very rad. The ending to me is powerful in a beautiful sour apple type of way. This beautiful apple is now soured is the only way to describe it.

The enemies: They were so much fun to scheme around. The men are a pain in the ass! I died 10 times on them. They are just such dicks when you try to attack them.  The equipping is odd too. If you don't equip the right powers or whatever you will lose. A lot of great execution in that department.

To me Transistor wasn't as what everyone said it was. It was great but not like what some reviewers gave it. The equipping is just wonky. Not knowing what you have in the slots is just odd. I planned some great equipment strategy and was stymied by not having enough slots.

I for one loved Bastion and this next effort to me fell a tad short. It worked for what it was. It was new and I applaud that but there's a couple of flaws to me. That keeps it from achieving mega-glory. And for that to me I guess being harsh I give it a 8.5/10.

The terminals were fun to learn about Cloubank. The process to me was like a rampant computer virus that covered the city and less robotic. The Camerata was very interesting to say the least. The last boss was a bitch to kill. 4 or 5 different forms really made me angry. He can just predict your movements. The AI was pretty neat.

-Red I mean Vesper.

I'm not very far at all into Transistor, but I do love the look of the game. And the way my PS4 controller glows when that robot talks.

I love the PS4 controller. I am glad that dark side has showed me the way. Keep playing it!
