Wow this has been a super fast week or 2. After a super long battle with a progressive form of MS, my mom passed away Wed 2/20. Although it should be a sad time, I'm happy that her suffering is over. It was pretty awful for her those last ..... it was just awful. I spent 7 years mourning her downturn healthwise and losing my "mother". Now all I can feel is relief. I feel a little guilty, but it's time to reconfigure my life a little bit. I'm not making big changes, just trying to get back on track. I am going to lose the 20 lbs I gained this year and try to get healthy again. My band is back together. I am going to volunteer to teach some kids percussion for a local after school program. Anyway, i am finally going to focus on me.
