It's time for another videw weekend. This night I thought I'd make it a bit more video game releated and current event "ripped from the headlines" related. More so given the current event related is happening in my state. For the record I can attest I haven't seen any clowns. But just the same I've checked the locks on my doors every night. Also these glitches I don't find quite scary myself, in fact I've found some of them actually funny, but there are some that make me woder. So far I haven't run into any of them but who knows what will happen this Octoberween. So sit back and relax and enjoy this double video posting for tonight. One of the things I like to do in preparation for another Octoberween season is try to find some decen tunes to get me in the mood. Normally they fall under the usual songs I listen to but on occasion I do cahnge things up depending what I found or if it sounds "just right" for my particular Octoberween mood. I normally don't talk about my musical choices given that my music tastes may not be that interesting to most people. I figure they are either too typical that at least one of these songs is on someone's playlist, or the song is so out there that no one could even consider it an Octoberween music tune. The most my music tastes see the written light of day on a blog is when I post my choice for a "Guilty (Listening) Pleasure". Aside from that I hardly ever share.

Yesterday I posted some videos from YouTube's Top5s video channel which I hoped you all enjoyed as much as I had when I discovered them. Today's posting though I I thought I'd shift gears a bit and share something a bit different yet unique in it's approach. We are all use to hearing ghost stories, either by friends family or videos on the web. But YouTuber Llama Arts (with help from Mr. Nightmare I'm told) decided to put a bit more effort into these creepy tales by actually animated them. At first I wasn't sure about it myself once I saw the intital animation style. It's not quite flash quailty but it isn't stick figures either. But at the same time it has that animation quaitly you'd might see on a cartonn network show, primetime or adult swim variant. Despite this it was indeed a step up from other channels that had some story tellers speak of their stories thru stills or vague images in an attempt in trying to set the mood. But after I watched a couple of episodes I was hooked in how the animation fits the storytelling very well. The music and sound effects are a nice touch and though they didn't exactly scare me to my wits, it did set a creepy tone that has helped me get into the Octoberween mood.

Finally after all these months I finally get a chance to sit down and type out an honest to goodness blog in all of it’s life boring-ness. Once again I apologize to all you eager readers (yes all 1 of you) in my lack of content as of late. Alot has happened once again in my life that has taken me away from one of the few precious joys I can still indulge in without it being mired in controversy, social justice activism and general tomfoolery that seems to plague many hobbies as of late. Despite my best attempts to embrace the newer formats of social expression in the microblogging forms of the twitter, instagram, tumblr and the like, I still see myself as a tried and true blogger. Someone that still tries to interact with other humans by means of word expression than just bit-sized nummins of what passes in the microblogging world. Not that there is anything wrong with that for it serves a purpose. I’m just to set in my ways in being use to writing how I feel and sharing it on a wider, long winded format.

With that said though I fear that given how my life has become I can no longer partake in the usual social interaction that comes with blogs and now can only find myself having the time to write them (if I’m lucky) but not the time to read other blogs, let alone comment to all comments if I’m lucky enough to have someone ready and wish to share their thoughts. It’s even bad enough that I’ve been further hampered in my bloging exploits by having my MS Word program lock me out of using it due to me not having purchased a subscription to use it. (Apparely the version offered on “NSonicus Prime" was only a 1 year free subscription) I tried to use "google docs" like my "Little One" suggested but frak that the moment I found out I had to be connected online to use it, something I loath to do in case I have a service interruption and I lose all of my work. I'm sure most of you know where I'm coming from with this due to back in the olden days if we tried to write a blog on the webpage of the site we freqent and the web paged reset, there was a good chance all your hard work went up into digital oblivion.
