Just hardware sales. But yeah, it looks more and more like it's peaked at this point--sales are down in a big way in Japan as well compared to last year.

Even back on the SNES, they needed stuff like Street Fighter and Final Fantasy to help bolster their library. Yet I still read comments saying that people are fine with a Nintendo-only box in 2014? LOL.

The drought is too real.

Really don't get why people say they're fine with the WiiU being a first-party only console. Nintendo can't support it by themselves; they simply don't have enough manpower.

At this rate I may end up getting a WiiU sooner than the other 2, LOL.

Right now, it does have several things going for it compared to the others--cheaper price, exclusives worth a damn, etc.--but it's competition is poised to close that gap and never look back over time. It won't be long before both outsell the WiiU in the States at this rate, either.

I really don't think Sony is doing that, though. They'd sell as many units as they could ship, so why sell less? I think the demand is just that high that they couldn't meet it no matter which countries got priority.

It does help that MS is aiming at a smaller number of countries. Plus they were absolutely hellbent on ensuring the US had adequate stock. Yet even with Sony's supply problems they're likely still neck and neck--in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they were selling more.

But yeah, there aren't enough games I want to justify buying either right now.

I really need to start putting money away for it. The more posts I read the more I want one, LOL.

Physical BC with DS carts is a HUGE advantage it has over the Vita. Not all PSP games are on PSN, and there are several that don't work even if they are available.

Some are even in their 30s and 40s, which is especially depressing.

There's no room for fun in the endless ConsoleWarz. Not dumping on people with consoles you don't have makes you a traitor to the cause.
