I don't enjoy Asteroids, I can definitely see someone who didn't game much in the late 80's early 90's never playing it.

I tried to edit Nick's comment, but couldn't. Boohoo!
Where's the mouse from?
Wow, this really seems like a minimal upgrade to Asteroids, and in the screenshots, I can't even make out where the ship is. This is something I don't think I ever could bring myself to play.
How did you do it, Kathrine?
Huh, I think I missed the joke.
Wow. You couldn't be any more wrong, Nick. That sounds like a good way to get someone killed. By a cat.
Well, Yoshi is more of a Dinosaur and less of a lizard, especially since there's currently more belief that dinosaurs are highly related to birds. Given this, I don't believe he can drop his tail like some lizards do.
Still, if I ever find a Yoshi tail, you'll be the first to know, Zap.
I don't know... I'm two stars in, and all I can say is the game has Yoshi!
That's where I'm at.
I can't believe there was never a plastic toy soldier RTS.
And you get to play as Vikki in this game?! Whoa! News to me.
I'm torn as to whether or not I'll buy Kirby Super Star. Hands down, the game is my favorite Kirby title, but I already own the SNES and DS version of the game, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. I may pick it up some time in the future if I feel like it, but I can't recommend an SNES title any more than KSS.
I have to agree that for the general audience, the learning curve definitely merits a slightly lower score. The fact that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is so much easier to just pick up and play, and yet contains what could be perceived as a similar level of depth really means the difference between the half star, in my opinion. Both games are great, and fighting fans will want to pick up both. Those who aren't such fanatics would probably enjoy TvC a little more, though.
