I say that all the time, and in that voice.

Haha! Well, I did go to the instruction manual when I was stuck on the final boss. I'm the guy that loves reading the manuals, but since games started printing one page books (this is no exception) I've gotten out of the habit.
If it makes you feel any better, my failure to beat the boss didn't stem from my lack of understanding of the finer points of the combat. I checked out a YouTube video of someone beating him on the hardest difficulty and they were using the same tricks I was. Fortunately, you can grind levels to upgade Raiden, which helps a lot.
I think that story point works, but the voice actor can't pull it off. He sounds like Terrorsaur from Transformers: Beast Wars. That works as a supporting character in a cartoon, but not as the lead character in a video game.
Unless you replay your games a lot I'd say that's the best course of action. I don't like to do the money versus hours of gameplay thing, but Rising is pretty damn short, even when compared to Bayonetta.
And it had the deepest game mechanics of the series. It's still my favorite ME game.
There's still hope for Type-0. The director said in an interview that they had the game running in HD, which could lead to a Vita and PS3 release. But this game seems far more likely.
I really enjoyed the demo of this game, but never picked it up. It's similar to a lot of early Japanese-developed games that came out around 2005-2007: interesting ideas with graphics and design decisions that were decidedly last gen. That doesn't make it a game to be avoided though-I have a ton of "B" games that I've had a blast with.
As much as I hate them throwing it on every game, this would be a good place to put the Final Fantasy name. It shares a lot of FF mechanics, and the current name is poison for the marketplace.
We had a lot of brain farts and bad info this episode. I think we were worried about getting to everything in such a short amount of time.
I thought for sure that Rob was going to score Sony and Nintedo way lower. And poor, poor Sega.
