The first game was great. I think people got sick of the series, so maybe it's over? I'm hoping they return to form too. 

I would also like another Kid Icarus game, I'm hoping that Sakurai will make a sequel to Uprising now that he's done with Smash. 

I wouldn't get your hopes up on a Joust remake, you might be the only person who remembers that one. 

Game & Watch Gallery games are really fun, I really hope Nintendo brings back the series. Also, Custom Robo is really cool, you should play the GCN or DS games if you can find them. 

Since you have a Switch, I would recommend getting Super Bomberman R. It has an online mode so you can play with other players. I also really like the two games on the 64 (Bomberman 64 and its sequel). 

Surely you've played some Bomberman with friends! Bomberman multiplayer is some of the most fun I've had and I think it's a big part of his legacy. Blowing up other players is really fun and satisfying. 

So glad you're getting into the endgame with GAA. You really have to devote a lot of time because the last case is huge, but this is what the previous game and cases have been leading to, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. 

I didn't realize there was so much FF6 representation in this game. I might have to get it now :)

Not a bad idea! A new Shining Force would be cool, but I know that a lot of fans want Golden Sun to come back. 

Yeah, I've heard that Toadstool Tour is the best, I need to get that one. I also hear a lot of praise for the 3DS game. It's odd that Camelot made a golf game on the Wii that wasn't a Mario Golf game.
