It was a touch choice because we played a ton of Quake III Arena and NBA Showtime too.
My music choices are pretty obscure. Not exactly hipster picks.

I wish. He's basically retired now (early because of disability) and so it's unlikely. I'm wondering when the new consoles will get to around $200. Probably be years from now.
My memory of split-screen was trying to play Halo CE and constantly telling him to stop looking at my half of the screen. Man, even with seperate screens he's still looking. Darn cheater! Ha!
Yeah, my job is totally getting to me too lately. Gonna be scheduling more time to work on that problem very soon I think.
It might have split/screen but I'm so used to Mark and I having our own screens for either LAN or online co-op, I don't want to go back.
It's been described as an expansion to EDF 2025. I did recognize the levels in the gameplay video but there's supposed to be new ones.
Yea well, Mark and I have been playing games together for probably thirty years now. It's my weekend ritual at the moment.
Well, it hasn't worked yet. I had to rip the rest of my CDs today. Maybe tomorrow.
I've had trouble getting into the RE games but Silent Hill. Loved the first one and want to play the rest of the series badly.
I've seen all the movies but I've just read the first book. I'm about half way through the second. I know about Snape though. I'm just trying to read it without thinking about what I already know. I think I'll finish Chamber of Secrets this week and start Prisoner of Askaban next.
I'm trying to get my weekday gaming together. I'd like to get in a movie's worth of time every day to gaming. It's been difficult though. I'd like to focus on RPGs and play a lot of them. They are mostly single player, which is good, since I'll be playing after work alone in the wee hours every night. Right now I have Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 in my 3DS waiting for me.
I just got that first big Eminem album, Slim Shady LP, and was looking at the song titles. Those alone tell you what you're in for on the album. I remember Ice-T getting flak for that Cop Killer song with his Bodycount group. It probably only helped him sell more records. I don't know what to think about "offensive" lyrics in songs. Sometimes it's for humor and sometimes it just refects the artist's experience. There's way worse stuff in writing and that used to be brought to trial for indecency. I guess it's down to what redeeming value the work has. Is the artist just trying to shock, or are they making some kind of important statement. I don't know. It's entertainment in this example you mention, I suppose. What do we want to allow in that realm? Anything? I'm not sure.
