I like that the gaming elements really make you pay closer attention to the story. I was more attentive than I usually am with a movie because of that.

Does it have a story mode? I can only get into fighting games if there is a story mode.
I just noticed that I wasn't using my controller as much as usual. I'd push a button, swipe the stick in different directions, and pull the trigger but not constantly like in most games. A couple of times I actually had to move my character around a room and look at stuff. Such interactivity! You do have to pay attention though, because you never know when a dialog choice will pop up with that timer going beneath it. I had one dialog I missed because the timer was going really fast and I wasn't ready for it.
Oh yea, you also have to listen carefully to every bit of dialog. Sometimes you have to recall information for a dialog choice. I wasn't ready for that either.
It made me laugh out loud many times. It's really good. The comedy is not quite as goofy as in the main games. The jokes are a touch more subtle and complex. It makes sense, I guess, because there is so much more dialog and less reliance on visual humor like in B1 and 2 I think.
I keep trying to do something rational like only keeping the handful of games I'm playing at the moment and trading everything else, but I'm just too attached to the stuff and like buying new stuff too. I do have a limit though and last week was a little bit out of control.
I don't want to see torture in any game and it seems it's the new favorite feature. I had to endure a torture scene in Wolfenstein the New Order and hated having to do that every time I played through it.
I know there's some RTS type stuff in it somewhere, but at only 5 hours in on S1, I haven't seen it yet.
Graphics on the iPad look really good!
You can fine tune the auto-attack a little bit by specifying which specials the characters can use and the game does prompt you yes or no about party memebers using items or curing players of ailments. I'm experiementing with it. I've noticed one of my characters is very quick and often dashes ahead to attack monsters. That could be a problem down the road I'm thinking.
If I wasn't living in an apartment, these losses would never happen. I'd just box 'em up, and put them in another closet.
