Yuzo Koshiro did the music for Revenge of Shinobi. Sadly, he didn't do the music for this game or Shinobi III, but those soundtracks are still great.
I didn't mention that your dog can't get hurt by enemies, so maybe it's best that he's non-playable.

It is a great series, and Shinobi on 3DS is really good. All the games are good, even that 3D one for the PS2.

This is why remakes should kinda, y'know, be similar to their originals. There's two different fan bases for the game now.

Donkey Kong '94 is a great remake. I also forgot the two Zelda remakes on 3DS, which are both awesome.

Hm, didn't know about the TO remake. Pretty sweet. I know the original on the SNES is highly regarded.

What I've heard, the original RE is quite unbearable by today's standards, so the remake was very needed.
