TotK would have been a godsend when we were kids. So much to keep doing! Alas, it turns out there are other games to play! Lol.

Yes! I would love to have a more traditional Zelda (that isn't a remake), maybe with some kind of unusual art style. I want the hook shot! And eight dungeons!
That's cool that you got the physical edition of the Pixel Remasters. I am very tempted to try to get the whole series through 12 physically on the Switch, just to have it, but it would be quite expensive to do.
Wait, you've already busted out the Xbox?? That didn't last very long lol
I feel bad for the poor six games that got left off the two lists lol. Interesting choices. You played a bunch of cool games! I was so glad that Ghost Trick got a second chance. I played it on the DS years ago and loved it. I wasn't able to get to Mario Wonder in 2023 but I'll be sure to fix that this year.
I love the silly pigeon ascethic of Head Bangers lol
I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping I can finish Tears of the Kingdom before the end of the year.
Reading lists like this always reminds me how many games from the current year I haven't played
I also played the trombone in high school (and even now on rare occasion), so I really should try that trombone champ game. I've seen some video of it and it looks hilarious to play.
You know, that tidbit from ten years ago has escaped my memory somehow lol
My Switch tells me I'm at 55 hours in Tears of the Kingdom. What I meant (and I see I worded that badly) is that I was kind of playing out of obligation until about the 30 hour mark. I thought the first ten or so hours were kind of a slog and even after that I kept thinking, "Everybody really loves this game. I'm sure it's about to get amazing any time now." And while I think this is a great game—heck, we could even capitalize it—this is a Great Game, I don't think it lives up to the insane hype heaped on it.
The big expansion for Destiny 2 coming out next year will be the culmination of the entire story thus far. I'm very interested to see how that goes and what they will do after it.
