Actually, the Saturn version is the closest to the arcade I believe. I haven't played that one though.

Golden Axe is good, but like you said, quite dated today. SoR2 holds up really well; it still looks good and plays great.

Give it a try for sure. The music really gets you pumped to beat up bad guys; it's a perfect fit for this game.

Even though I love SNES, I prefer Streets of Rage over Final Fight. They're just better for some reason. And Blaze is awesome.

Yes, more are making their way, but thankfully not the dating sims! There's lots of other great VN games out there though.
