I would love to play it before the sequel comes out. I did some research on the PSVR and it looks like a booger to hook up.

Maybe dedicate a month or two to handheld console generations?
My favorite console generations was 16-bit. Also have a soft spot for 8-bit and 32-bit.
I think the only thing I'd want to do in that Assassin's Creed game is ride a camel. I watched my brothers play some of those games. I remember you could fall 20 stories into a pile of hay and be OK. And in one of them, you could feed any animal in the village by magically summoning bread crumbs from your hand. And that's my takeaway from Assassin's Creed.
Not only is FF6 my favorite RPG ever, it's also one of my top five favorite games of all time. Plus, my favorite FF character and villain are from that game: Terra and Kefka. I really liked Chrono Trigger as well. Unfortunately, I didn't like Earthbound.
Yeah I got the Super Mario G&W but haven't opened it yet. I hope I can get the Zelda one and Metroid Dread!
Only two VR games I REALLY want to play is Psychonauts: Rhombus of Ruin and the new Sam & Max VR game.
I got the special edition of that SNK Anniversary Collection and wrote about it a while back.

Yeah that would be awesome. Look like they do just VR stuff now.
Yeah I can understand why people would be worried when Microsoft buys a company. They did that with Twisted Pixel, one of my favorite developers during the 360 days. Twisted Pixel was an Austin, TX-based company who did 360 games like 'Splosion Man, The Maw, Comic Jumper, and Loco Cycle. But Microsoft kind of abandoned them. They're still around, as I just learned, but I don't think they're quite the same. Hopefully they won't do that with Double Fine. But at least we'll get Psychonauts 2 from them before anything happens. And I'm glad it's coming to the PS4 as well.
Well for me personally, the Golden Age of RPGs was with the SNES. That's when I was really into RPGs anyway. I can understand why people would say the PSOne era was great for RPGs, too, but that's when I slowly got out of RPGs. They're just too long nowadays. But I think we can all agree that the entirety of the 90s had a lot of great RPGs.
I was thinking about other "Golden Age" eras the other day. Like how the 80s had the best arcade games, but the 90s had the best console games. And Namco's Golden Age was probably in the early 80s arcades, but their "Silver Age" was probably on the PSOne.
