Yeah, I was watching The Cinema Snob review of it, and he was saying he still plays it; they poked fun at it having only white character sprites, though. lol

That is not my favorite story about the Red Sox. I really like them, too. Ah well, the Red Sox team I like hires extremely dark Dominican-Americans to hit their homeruns (David Ortiz is still one of my favorite players); still, I think that makes me feel a LOT less bad about the drought before 2004 for them. Now if only the Rangers could solve their drought ... maybe Yu could ... my last couple sentences went over your head, I'm betting. Sorry. lol
That is cool that the friend's wife's grandfather went to the Braves, though. Good for him, plus my favorite internet critic, The Cinema Snob, said they were his favorite team during his 42 review (he's also the one I told Carey mentioned RBI Baseball NES), so I can get behind that!
Agreed with your agreement. lol
Thanks, it's definitely got a lot of typical sports movie elements to it, but it's a great story and great characters/people, so I was glad I saw it.
Yeah, I started up a game of versus mode on my N64, cause I remembered having fun playing it, but I thought there would be a bot to fight, but no. Four screens of me from different angles...
Sucks about tanks, but to be honest, I think when we played, the guy that chose the tank was first to be blown apart. lol
A review I watched of 42 online referenced RBI Baseball.
A lot of people really liked that Bill O'Reilly spoof boss, whose name I forget, but the clip on Youtube looked like a repetitive boss that could have been written much more cleverly, in my opinion. I did like the design and graphical style of the fight, and I can't fully judge, having not played it, but what I saw underwhelmed me a bit, so I know what you mean about the writing.
The redesign of Dante, though, I kind of liked, but I wouldn't care as much, not being a huge fan (or a huge detractor; I've only played a few minutes of the first part of one of them, I think the first one, and thought it was fine) of the series prior, so ... I'll just play it if I get the chance and then make up my mind, but it's nice to hear another perspective on this.
I really wish Steve Nash would have stayed with the Mavs and got a ring with us, I love that guy. The less I talk about the Heat, the better. lol
As for the video game, if the Lakers are doing good in that game's season, I don't think you have to worry about the game becoming more realistic and jacking up Kobe's MCL. So you're good there, I think. lol Not saying that to be a jerk (my Mavs are doing worse), but I think you're ok.
The reason I knew that is cause they're made from pieces of my body, and are also sometimes used to keep Keith Richards living. He too now has a creamy center.
No, it wasn't that one, I'd have remembered if it were a franchise like that, and I don't think it was all top-down perspective. I think some of those old floppy disks are in the house though, so maybe I'll find it.
