Since I never played Space Channel 5 (though I have listened to the music a lot), I'll wait for the download to appear on Live Arcade. The rest... not so much.

Those gameplay flaws you mention have such an easy fix inside the game. Think time is going too fast? Use the Reverse Song Of Time. I have used it many a time, when I found I needed it. I also loved the great emphasis of Three Day character development. Majora's Mask has easily the best cast of characters in a Zelda game, and Yoshiaki Koizumi is the one to thank for that.

I know opinions are mixed, but Majora's Mask is the one Zelda game I found to be touching, tragic and very in-depth. Ocarina of Time can top that.

Ocarina of Time is still the better game though. But I love both equally.

It's the same reason Nintendo is remaking Ocarina of Time for the 3DS: it'll make money that way. It's not an old-school shooter, but nobody can really expect an old-school shooter to sell as a mainstream release. Live/PSN/Steam release? Absolutely.

I've played multiplayer a bit (locally), and I enjoyed it very much.
