This game is looking pretty amazing. I'm not sure if it's going to turn out as good as it looks, but damn am I excited for it.

This game kicks ass and it has a ton of classic game references, most abundantly, Super Mario Bros.
Yeah, this is a little disappointing to hear, but at least they are upfront about it. It's always worse when they beat around the bush and pretend like something else is holding them up.
Also, it's not bad just having the online features omitted for now. I can deal with that, because chances are the online modes are secondary to the single player adventure anyhow.
There's something intriguing about this game to me. Platinum has proved themselves to be a quality developer, so I'm going to get my hopes up a little bit that this is going to turn out to be a solid title.
Actually, I never got around to writing impressions on Wii Party, but it was an alright game. I'm not a big party game fan, but it seemed like Nintendo did an alright job with it. I think in a family situation it would go over well.
I couldn't have less interest in playing this game. It seems like more of the same old Dragon Quest, which in my opinion, was never that interesting to begin with. I can respect those that are really into the series, but I think that the appeal of the game is limited to that crowd alone.
I might get it eventually and toss it in the collection, but for now I might strangle myself if I have to play another by-the-books JRPG.
Well it kinda went down like this: Today, the game showed up in the mailbox. Chessa was playing obsessing over Persona 3 Portable and the game was just sitting there staring me in the face. So I figured, I'd grab it, pop it in and see how it was.
Big mistake. I was so outraged with it, I just had to crank out a review. This is the result of my rage.
If I were to describe this game in one word, I'd say, disappointing. It's exactly as Chessa explains it, about halfway through, it takes a sharp turn for the worst. The puzzles aren't interesting anymore, the world has lost all intrigue, and the story, if there ever was one, simply cuts out.
I'm not sure why it's getting perfect scores from so many publications, I don't think I'll ever bother playing it again, as it's just a slightly better-than-average game.
I do have a theory about games like this though, and why the media seems to love them so much, but I'll save that for an editorial.
I love announcements for announcements!
Seems like they did a nice job with this one. I think the integration into Madden is a really nice feature. Definitely comes full circle in providing a complete football experience.
I can't say football games are my thing, but I can respect how well done this seems to be.
