I agree. I think sexism,objectification,and misogyny are sometimes related. However, they are not always exclusive to each other nor do they mean the same thing.
I know when I draw sexy female characters I don't twirl my mustache and wish for the downfall of all women. I do it just because it's what I like and what I'm aroused by.
I see a lot of female fan artists draw sexually explicit pairings of bishonen characters like Cloud and Dante yet for some reason that's "okay". I find it perplexing how that double standard exists. Aka, females are allowed to get raunchy with their fantasies and noone will say anything yet if a guy does the same, he's a misogynist and a sexist.
I notice lines have been drawn between people in the geek community where there used to be none. I hate seeing us fight over gender politics and petty semantics but "game journalism" knows it can exploit our argumentative natures to build traffic and get hits.
Sorry,didn't mean to ramble. lol. As for my rpg, rest assured it's not as long as a mainstream one. It has a system that makes leveling up quickly rather easy. I did that for people who simply do not have the idle time to grind away for hours on end.
