I rage quit Lost Planet about half way through today. The mechs move very slowly and some of the bosses really hammer you before you can maneuver or get a shot off.
I've also read Guns, Germs and Steel and Collapse by Jared Diamond. He's great.

Oh man, that B-52's album is the bomb. "Hero Worship" is my favorite song off that one, and yes I know what she's singing about. I still like it for its wild abandon.
I used to love vinyl. I had so much of it at one time too. I finally transitioned to digital when the price of vinyl approached used CDs at around $7. Vinyl used to be a cheap way to check out new music, albums for 25 cents or a dollar each. Now, not so much.
I guess this is all to make up for the "dickwolves" thing that happened a few years ago. I read about it in this Wired article. They're giving free space to exhibitors who promote diverse interests in gaming. I guess that's good but it seems like a quick bandaid to make up for Mike Krahulik's rather crass stand on a joke involving rape. I can see why he wants to shove it in people's faces who didn't get the joke in his strip but there's a time to stand up for a joke and a time to just let it go because it touches a nerve in people. The good comic has to ultimately give in to the crowd if he wants to stay on stage. I think he's hurting himself by doing things like making "dickwolf" t-shirts. I'm not sure this diversity lounge thing is going clean up his image. What was he thinking?
What a great bunch of RPGs for iOS! Man, I need to get a tablet. Oh Sumo Santa.
I think it was leeradical here at Pixlbit who knows Over-G Fighters better than I who only played it an hour or two.
If you have problems looking too young, do what composer Johannes Brahms did. Grow a massive beard! Here's a chart so you can pick a style.

I avoided Gears for a while not liking the characters much, but on a binge of cheap games I tried out Gears 1 and found I really liked it. The controls are very fine tuned and the co-op is a blast. I then went quickly to 2 and then 3. They get better and better. A friend and I played Gears 3 for almost three months straight before I just had to stop to play other things. I gotta try Gears Judgment sometime.
Playing: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team [3DS] and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition [X360]
Reading: American Canopy: Trees, Forests and the Making of a Nation by Eric Rutkow and The World Until Yesterday: What We Can Learn from Traditional Societies by Jared Diamond.
Listening to: The Bonzo Dog Band - A Dog's Life (The Albums 1967-1972)
I've never gotten into the Mario games but the Mario & Lugi games I love. It all started with Partners in Time.
I want to be a Druid and talk to and command plants.

Yea, like this guy.
This is the youtube channel. I'm not sure what the PBS connection is. I stumbled across this video quite by accident.
