Same here, I'll put it on every now and then just because it's so calming and beautiful (moreso than any other VG OST).

Hm, so does that mean you don't like Metroidvanias?
It's a short game, so I would try to stick it out. It's certainly different.
Thanks for sharing! It's always cool to hear music that Uematsu did that wasn't for the FF series. What a legend.
Etrian Odyssey music is great! In fact, I was going to put one of those games on the list, but had to cut it due to limited space. Some tunes will sound more classical, but there's a lot of synth, jazz, and rock stuff in there too. Fantastic all around.
Just about every game in the series has at least one memorable song. Even the older games have some really impressive compositions.
Kid Dracula is great, and also has some good music. Even the Game Boy version has great music.
Yeah, Tragic Prince made me realize that strings could sound epic too. I think this might be the first VG soundtrack I heard that used real instruments, which blew me away.
Well it's not a platformer, it's certainly a different kind of game, and it's VERY Japanese, so I get it if it's not your thing. But the music is pretty great! Same with the Wii game, awesome OST!
I'm with you! One Winged Angel is great, but certainly overrated. Dancing Mad is a true masterpiece. I think I've actually heard the opera in one of the Distance Worlds concerts (atleast part of it)--very impressive!
