I'm playing on the easiest possible difficulty, using the premade characters, and auto-fighting whenever I can. So far it's not been too easy or too hard. I haven't lost any progress, and I've been challenged and entertained.

Oh cool! I just got on board with Pixltalk with episode 80 and was wondering when or if there would be another episode.
Oh cool! Reminds me of Final Fantasy IV.
Wow, I saw homages to: Front Line, Road Rash, Commando, Robotron 2084, Legend of Zelda, and GTA. I'm sure there are others in there too.
I've been playing World Series of Poker: Full House Pro on XBLA lately with all sorts of people including a friend of mine who is in the room with me. I don't use my Xbox headset but sometimes the other player's voices come through the speakers of my TV. I had to mute one guy 'cause he just kept bumping his microphone. Another player was clearly a tween or younger and just cursed the whole time. I almost muted him, but, predictably enough, he left as soon as he lost a couple of hands. Thing is, when I'm playing, I curse a lot too, but I'm not connected so that everyone can hear me. Only my friend sitting next to me can, and he's cussin' up a storm too. I wouldn't be cussin' though if I was able to be heard by random people.
That and World Series of Poker: Full House Pro with a friend of mine on XBLA. I'm not sure if I want to buy more gold with real money yet. To get all the achievements you have to spend at least $5 for more gold to get more chips and buy XP boosts (you can earn chips by winning but not gold). That's not too bad though. I may do it.
My girlfriend becomes a Boiler from time to time. Get too close, and her head explodes. LOL
I have Resistance Retribution but haven't played it yet. I'm always skeptical of these handheld episodes of console FPS', but from what you say, it sounds pretty cool. I didn't know you could play it on your TV or use the PS3 controller to play a special mission as long as you have Resistance 2 (which I just bought). That is frickin' awesome! When I get to Resistance 2, instead of going right to R3, I'm going to play Retribution for sure.
Those anime cut sceens are gorgeous! Changing from old and new music scores is a really cool feature too.
Oh I love that SMTIV image! I can't wait to start playing it. Too busy with Etrian Odyssey at the moment.
