Coincidence. I just started Dragon Quest IX on DS after a long while and noticed how good the graphics looked. I think the bold colors and high contrast is what appeals to me over the higher detail and more colors on the PSP. I was never wowed by the PSP's graphics. Only the OLED Vita did that for me. DS always looks great. That Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is one of the best looking imo. Even though it's not my style of game, I always gaped at the graphics on that one. 

I worked something like 5 to late, which is anywhere between 12 and 2 in the morning, for the longest time. Only in the last 5 years or so have I been getting up at 7am and working in the mornings or afternoons. It's good for gaming with my friend Mark who lives largely on a farmer's schedule of dawn to dusk. 

The graphics in Wind Waker are the main reason I like it over just about every other Zelda game. 

Mika looks exactly like what a Kiki's Delivery Service game would be. I like. I hope it comes to Game Pass otherwise it's unlikely I'll get to play it. 

What's your PHD going to be about? 

I just noticed the other day the use of Tears for Fear's Mad World within the GoW3 game. I had always thought it was just used in the ads. I haven't noticed the Megadeth song. I'll have to check that out. I probably heard it but didn't recognize it. 

I'm in a suburb of Phila. My girlfriend goes into the city often for art shows, so I'm not very far from the city. 

That Batman cartoon sounds interesting. I'll have to check out a trailer. 

I'm playing Gears of War 3 at the moment.

I was curious about One Piece Odyssey. If it's like DQ than I am even more interested. 

I played Dead Space 3 a bit recently and really liked it. I think I must've skipped DP2. I'm thinking that once I've played each of the games on my first list, that next year I'll want to move on and get to these second lists. I've made good progress so far and actually finished more games than I usually do. So maybe next year. Haha. 

Yeah, so, I never finished the original version because that control scheme just annoyed me, much as it does in Resident Evil games. But when I tried the remaster recently, I really enjoyed it and wondered what bothered me about it all those years ago. It's great, and I want to play it again. 

I have yet to play the HD version, been meaning to for years. I have it on my wish list but it doesn't seem to want to go below $10. Still, it's worth it when I have time for it. 

I was working late night at the time and it was the perfect thing when I came home in the wee hours.
