I've only played the first PoP game by Ubisoft Montreal. To be honest, I have no desire to play the other ones because I know they're not that good. 

Why? They're so much fun! You get to punch ugly dudes! How could that not be awesome? 

How strange, I got into it right away. The Wii game combines the best of both games, also including the large characters and being able to see throug Little Mac. Perhaps something's wrong with you? jk

Absolutely. You're right, the princess was hot, which is the way a princess in a movie should be. 

The game it's based on is very good. PoP platformers are more realistic, so they're definitely more challenging. Not everyone can be as good as Mario. 

It was a pleasant surprise. This movie did not feel like a VG movie at all (no cheesy acting and action), which is always a good thing. 

It's pretty good. Animated movies are becoming a thing now. But it's good to see the characters come to life in live action films. 

Me neither. I suppose the movie is more satisfying for the avid MK fan, but it's still enjoyable for those of us who aren't into the bloody fatalistic fighting franchise. 

The theme song is awesome. What's surprising is that it actually fit quite well into the movie. Cheesy? Perhaps a little, but mostly awesome. 

I have not seen the second movie. But this movie played the theme several times throughout the movie with the guy yelling "MK." Now THAT is ultimate fan service!
