Where the heck is Superstep?
I asked Nick the site director to look into that. Thanks for letting us know!
Heh heh heh..."Epic Lute".
I kill me sometimes.
Yeah, I would agree. I keep meaning to play the PSP version that I bought ages ago.
I'd say a good 80% of the people who came into our store to buy a Dreamcast that day also picked up a copy of FF VIII. We also had a ton of people who came in just for that.
Yes, that's me at the Sega Dreamcast launch at Gamefellas. 19 year old Julian had Hank Hill hair.
The comic was Hsu and Chan. The artist actually turned it into a monthly comic, but he moved away from them being game designers so I only got the first issue.
I know I brought up the disconnect of Barrett running around with a gun arm in the remake at some point in our many discussions on the show, but I've been thinking about it a lot. It made me realize that, in most games like FF VII, the only people walking around with weapons are the main party members. And that was fine when they were little polygonal action figures walking around, but in modern graphics it looks silly.
That's another of many reasons why I love the world of FF XIV so much. You'll find tons of NPCs walking around visibly armed, because that's just how it is. Adventuring is a trade, just like fishing or blacksmithing. It's another reminder of how badly I want the XIV team to take over on the next game.
