Demo discs were the best! It's a shame they're gone, but now you can just download demos directly from the console.
Very few furry mascots have managed to survive into the 2020s. Sonic has, although most of his games are still mediocre. Pokemon is still huge. Ratchet & Clank is still very successful. Maybe Kirby too (although he's not furry). It's a very interesting era we're living in, isn't it?
Yes, Billy Hatcher was a GCN exclusive. It's not a bad game (I beat it), but it's super weird (it's made by Sega, and Sega games tend to be weird).
LOL that would have been very interesting to see how they handle that character. They would probably have tried to make Bubsy "cool" which I don't think would work
I think a lot of people could say the same thing (like me)
I missed it too, although I remember seeing it in Nintendo Power and thinking it looked really weird. For me, the N64 era was when my brothers and I would often go to Blockbuster to rent games (the best!) but we never tried Glover. I would love to get it now, though, because it sounds pretty good.
The concept of Space Invaders is very simple, but it was the first of its kind. I would like to get the cartridge of Space Invaders on SNES, it's supposed to be pretty good, and it has a split-screen two player mode that I've heard is really fun.
LOL another brilliant idea, sir! (how about a sentient smartphone that fights off viruses?)
It was just over-ambition. Oops
I remember Tomba (which is a pretty good game, I think) but I missed the others at the time. It's clear that Sony wanted some new mascot games
