Thank you for adding your thoughts, Blake. I'm not against having eye candy in games. Like you say, there's a difference between objectification and admiration.

And don't forget LBP!
Excellent article. Thanks for sharing this, Blake. Brenda Gershkovitch is doing something rather than soapboxing, unlike certain other women I could mention but won't. I'd be interested in checking out EverLove if it evercame to a platform I could play it on.
You have so many, many awesome games to look forward to! Heck, I'm still catching up!
I went through a phase where I was trying harder for Achievements than I was having fun in the game so I took a big step back. If they're fun, I'll go for 'em, but otherwise I don't get too hung up on them. It's a phase, Larry. You'll grow out of it .
Jon, I know exactly where you're coming from. I've listened to many poor employees in electronics departments attempt to explain things to clueless people. I think there need to be flashcards for the clueless.
I still need to play these games...Don't want to read any comics without some of the background first.
Upmuntil recently, I really hadn't thought much about getting a Wii U, but it certainly seems more appealing to me than either the Xbox One or the PS4 at the moment. Not in my budget, though.
As a consumer, I'm pretty excited about the 2DS, as 3D effects don't work for me due to poor depth perception from being nearly legally blind in one eye. I can see where it will be a nightmare for all the poor retail employees, though.
May be the only way I go with a new portable. I can't see 3D effects due to poor depth perception anyway, so this is kinda right up my alley.
