I wouldn't doubt that Nintendo screwed Argonaut because they could be kinda cut-throat at times. It's sad that poor Argonaut didn't get to help AT ALL with Star Fox 64 because it could have really helped the company.
I'm actually getting a copy of it very soon, so I'm excited to see if it's any good. It does rip off other games, but it's supposedly not bad.
Golden age, sure, but there were plenty of awful 3D platformers too (you will see some stinkers next week)

I had to look up Max Headroom, but yeah, he's kinda like that, although his face is purple with yellow eyes (just creepy enough to haunt your dreams)
Well, considering how short-lived PM was, I don't blame you.
Any Smash Bros. clone can't compete with Smash. They might be OK but Smash is in a league all by itself. I never played PSASBR but I did think that the cast didn't completely fit together (and there were some obscure character in there, although I guess die-hard PS fans would know them).
