I LOVE Ristar, I played it for the first time via the Wii Virtual Console, and I was so impressed. It's such a shame they've never made any other games. (also your idea is awesome) 

Yeah, the problem with talking in a game is that it can get old if there isn't enough variety (they were still learning that in the '90s)

I would definitely buy a Jazz collection if they ever put it out. I'm thinking Epic is so busy with Fortnite that they've forgotten about Jazz (sad), but hey, you never know, they might include him in Fortnite (that would be awesome).

I'm sure Sunsoft didn't see them as offensive. After all, in a way they were making fun of themselves, which is always fine. It's like if an American developer made a mascot that was obese and ate hamburgers; it would seem offensive, but actually it's just making fun of the American stereotype. Zero just didn't having staying power, and I'm sure the racist stuff wasn't the cause (although it probably didn't help either).
