I mean ... I kinda would actually. Lol It's like people who are hilarious at parties but can't preform stand up well. It's a particular context and skill set.

But I'd still listen to you riff something. Lol Now you can't use the "I don't know video editing or YouTube" excuse for THAT, because it really isn't editing- intensive at all.

Quick Hits: The After Dinner Treat

Sadly, the songs are all on a computer playlist, we were only allowed to rotate 3 an hour, and with mostly hip hop heads running an alt rock station, not many had any personality when it came to music selection because they didn't like or understand the music.

BUT I later became the Station Mgr and Music Dir. in grad school (GA) and made sure that computer playlist was at least playing what it SHOULD and on weekends as a DJ, the classic rock was all on CDs, and we knew what we were doing then. Only issue there was couldn't play any of the same songs one hour to next, so if you came in for 5pm Sunday, you were in this horrible spot re: what music you could play. That was mostly where the (bad) slow jams came in.

Oh and if you heard American Pie during classic hits or Master of Puppets during alt rock, it meant someone had to take a dump. Sealed

That's about what i expected w country folk vs college kids. Now that I think of it, my town basically IS country folk vs colleges kids. Lol

Just a Minecraft Day

I still am going to give MineCraft a chance; I'm just saying the type of game it is usually doesn't appeal to me. But since I have it, I'll still try it again at some point. Sunk cost fallacy and all ...

Just a Minecraft Day

See here's the thing: it's not the graphics. I've enjoyed ugly games before. It's more that I've just never been interested in building things in a game. Even leveling up characters can be a chore to me. I honestly prefer to have a clear challenge laid out for me and overcome it, where building-oriented games and RPGs often turn me off with ... I googled and still couldn't find the term I've seen used for having too many choices, but that.

Now, I'm not saying that I'll neglect a game that lets you choose how to tackle it or what upgrades you get or allows you to build etc. But I need to be eased into it and hate large menus in a game. I didn't like having so much text thrown at me in the Minecraft tutorial either. I love to read, just not in a video game where I'd rather baby step my way through learning by doing.

Anyway, did you think the inventory in Stardew looked an awful lot like Minecraft? I did. Of course, they both might be borrowing from older games I never played. Maybe Harvest Moon always had that type of inventory and I just wouldn't know, having never played it.

Hollow Knight: Capturing the Spirit of Dark Souls

No, not quite. I skimmed the article, so I know that you like DS for atmosphere and not some of the other reasons people have and there is a game you feel captures some of that magic outside the franchise. I just didn't read much about that game, cause I'm still proctoring an exam at the moment.

The fellatio thing is of course a joke ... As is  your BLLLEEEEEPPPPPPEEEEPPPEPEP HAVE A DR> PEPPER AND A FROWN

I didn't really pay much attention to anything else you said, but I want you to know I'd blow you either way.

"The guide wasn't always correct, and I spent a good hour and a half searching for an item that wasn't in the spot that the guide said it would be."

Sounds about right. I hate when there's that one little thing in a guide that's not exactly what you're needing or throws you off. Like when I need help with a certain version of an Adobe program and all the forums are talking about CS6 when CC 2017 is different enough that it doesn't give me what I need ...

I like how trophies add something to do in seemingly directionless games.

I'd have to hear you riff something before I knew whether I think you'd be good on the show. Delivery has a lot to do with it, and I've only ever read your stuff, not heard your voice ... Aliiive in our heearts*ahem* Catholic school, sorry.

At first, I thought they did a riff on McDonald's Super Mario toys and got excited lol.
