I'm terrible at strategy games. I can never look ahead far enough to do well. My SO loves them and is very good at them.

Been on the go all weekend, but got a good night's sleep last night. Had to, had a race this morning.

Rise is on my short list of games I'm going to buy when I once again have a bigger paycheck coming in.

I'm thinking about fixing myself a snack and playing it some more tonight. Snowing like crazy outside, perfect night for gaming.

By the way, where in Maine is your roommate from?

There was one that took me forever to figure out. It was actually fairly early in the game, too. It was a matter of lining myself up just right and and getting the camera angle just so.

I think it may have been because there was a pretty good story involved that hooked me. I dunno, I just like the game, not going to worry too much about why.

Oh, metal slimes! I used to actively hunt them. Jason said I was a horrible person, picking on those cute little slimes like that. To which I would reply: metal slimes are the creeping coins of the DQ world.

See, I knew there had to be something! I think I'm just missing the online co-op achievements for that one.

I think that Yoshi game may be the next one I have to get. Hopefully, someone will give me either cash or gift cards for my birthday next month.
