Thanks! I still haven't made it past Mines 1-3 but I keep trying at it over and over every night. I love the music, the gadgets, the visuals, and the crazy dangers everywhere.

Thanks Peter!

That intro to Dragons Dogma is pretty bad, but the game gets much more interesting once you can get through that and out of the starting town.

I finally finished Arkham Asylum last month. My friend bought the game when it came out in 2009 and brought it over, so I played the first couple hours but he had to take the game back and I never finished. I finally bought it for myself and finished it after these years and I liked it a lot.

Lol, I love that profile pic Joe, that's the kind of cake I needed. Dragon's Dogma's weird, it's quite pretty in some places, really nasty in others. The roguelike design of Spelunky works out pretty well for this particular game because it's a smaller game with more digestible levels. The difficulty of it makes it hard to get through those small levels though. Also there's a guy you can find who will create shortcuts for you so you don't always have to start over. There's a few different worlds I know of outside the mines like a jungle and a temple, and you can create shortcuts to those and start from those. I've actually never played Zelda II but I can start that up anytime because I have a Gamecube and the collectors Zelda disc that has several Zelda games on it including 2. I'm almost finished with Zelda but I haven't gone back to it in a little while, once I finish that I'll hop into Zelda II to see what's it's all about.

Thanks Alex!

The original Alice came out on PC but also ended up on Mac, PS3, and 360. Hopefully you can find it on Steam.

That's cool, if you blog about it I'll be sure to stop by and tell you happy birthday. But in case you don't blog that day I'll say it early. Happy (early) Birthday! Smile

How dare they procreate, I need to see what happens to Kvothe and Denna lol. I'm really glad I got into his writing, he's way better than I thought he would be.

Hi Tami Smile

I've been lucky enough to be able to grab a lot of games this last quarter of the year, probably plenty to keep me busy through a lot of 2014. I have a lot I want to read too though so I'm going to have to jump back and forth so I can have time for both. I really wish Day 3 of Kingkiller Chronicles was out, I'd probably do what you did with the first book and gobble it up in a couple days. I'm really missing that universe and cast of characters lately.

Thanks Aaron!

Spelunky's great and you can grab it on Steam, PS3, Vita, and 360. It runs real well on console, on the PC side I'm not sure how demanding it is on resources, I'd imagine it's pretty easy to run though.

Thanks James!

What other games have you been waiting for? What games are you interested in that are going on sale? Spelunky is great, I'm definitely getting a lot for my $15, it's super addicting and has excellent replay value since things are always fresh and you always have something to learn and stuff to aspire to in each play session.
