In fairness to the PS4, it hasn't been around nearly as long as the Wii U, and some upcoming games look quite cool.
But yeah, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad, and Smash Bros. all make me glad I have a Wii U..

Waiting for Christmas isn't really a bad idea, as the price may drop again, or, at least, Nintendo may release another cool bundle, perhaps this time with Smash Bros.
I see the Wii U a little like I've seen Nintendo's other systems from the last few generations--if it's the only console you own, you'll probably feel left out (as the sheer number of games available on the other systems will make you sad). But if it's in addition to something else, you're bound to be pretty satisfied.
I think they are Japan-only, as I had never heard of the game until I happened upon the Ultracade release. The good news is that the GBC version is region free, so getting a copy shouldn't be too hard. But let's face it, the GBC isn't really known for its sterling graphics.
As for Disney Quest, it'll render you giddy the first time you visit. I once had an annual pass and would go at least once a month--it loses its luster when you go that often, but it's still a fun diversion no matter how many times you visit. The evenings are usually more crowded than the afternoons, though, so you may want to get there early.
Cool. I'm not sure how much has changed since then, but you'll probably dig the Wreck-It Ralph area--there are several "vintage" Wreck-It Ralph machines that you can play for as long as you want. The Pirates of the Caribbean "ride" is probably my favorite of the attractions. Be sure to check it out.
I discovered this game at an Ultracade machine at the Disney Quest indoor theme park (basically a huge arade). The game is simple and tough but lots of fun, especially with a track ball. The PSOne version, I think, is PAL (Europe) only. I think the Taito Col. 2 is the only proper way of playing it on our shores.
I have a soft spot for Aqua, personally.
Yeah, I think the Wii U will probably always have a more meager showing than its competition due to its lack of third-party support. But there are some gems coming soon, from Hyrule Warriors to Captain Toad to Smash Bros. As a secondary system, it might be worth having for some of those.
Thank you, sir! And I agree--Mario Kart 8 is a glory to see. It's a showcase product, really, even if the gameplay is pretty much the same as before.
The controller is mighty nice. Just don't spill anything on it or scratch that screen!
And it is fun for the first few minutes. But you'll quickly realize that there's no substance here beyond the intial glory of blazing through a hoard of pixelated enemies.
Thanks! I sometimes wonder why I do these things, so the kind words are appreciated!
