Also, maybe you could use some of your old contacts to get a few more of those Japanese games like Graces f on 360?  Thanks!

Episode 57: We Speak of Revolution!

I don't think it's just gamers, I think the problem is internet culture in general.  Honestly, I don't see this personality in adults, mostly teenagers.  I think it's just an extention of High School personality and I hope most people outgrow it.

For what it's worth, if I ever caught my kids behaving that way, there'd be hell to pay for it.  I find it completely insane that parents would just let a kid run wild on the internet like that.  There's just too much trouble they could get into.  You might think I'm a little too stern, but none of our kids have TVs or game consoles in their room.  They play games in the living room in full view of the rest of the family.  There is a wii in the playroom, but that TV isn't hooked to cable and the Wii isn't hooked to the internet.

Anyway, I'm trying to do my part to stop this nonsense.  My kids will eventually make their own choices when it comes to their own behavior, but they'll know where I stand on things and how to behave properly.  I can assure you that as long as they are in my house, they won't be part of the problem.

I'd be interested in seeing a direct comparison between this and Vesperia.  Lots of Tales games are very similar, and I'd want to know if this is different enough to be worth a purchase

Not for me, I'd choose "burn it with fire" every chace I got.  That thing freaks me out.

I love a good, challenging game.  Dark Souls is one of my favorite games to come out this generation, but I agree.  If I'm going to take a second dip into the franchise, it needs to do something different to entice me.  This seems like it would do the trick.

In EO 3, resting only cost you 5 levels, previous to that it was 10, but still, that's a lot of time invested.  True you haven't lost the character completely, but it's a heavy punishment for poor point distribution. I ended up resting my entire party and tossing 4 characters down the drain because I didn't understand what I was getting into.  Re-reading it though, that was poorly phrased on my part.

While it's not a franchise, the old Blizzard game I would most like to see make a comeback would be Rock 'N Roll Racing.  It was a flawed game (Passwords instead of saves on an SNES? Seriously?!) but man did I had some fun with that as a kid.  Also, you could use Olaf as a driver if you entered a cheat code.

Remind me again why everybody is talking about the need for new hardware?

You know the closer we get to immitating real human beings, the worse the uncanny valley experience is for me.  This one made me way more uncomfortable than usual.  While I appreciate innovation, I personally prefer it when games look more like, well, games.
