I just started Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on Xbox One tonight and couldn't put it down for hours. It's a fantastic game, and a great palette cleanser after Halo 5. I also just got a Vita after some nudging by Patrick, so I decided to download Spelunky for it. I got it free on PS Plus and didn't care for it, but that was before I fell down the Rogue Legacy rabbit hole. I know you love that game, so I'll give it another shot.
We're glad to be back. You're probably one of the few people outside of the NWP cast that knew what had happened, and I appreciate your kind words and understanding that I needed time. Even though I have been doing the Slam Masters podcast that is a much simpler show, and I'm not in the driver's seat on that one. NWP takes a lot more thought and work on my part.

Yes, we are on hiatus, and I am sorry I have not done a better job of informing our listeners about that. I am going through a very tough personal time, and just haven't been able to devote the time needed to host and produce the show. I was hoping that Angelo and Patrick could soldier on without me for a bit, but it seems like NWP isn't coming back until I can. I wish I could tell you when that is, but right now I just can't. I'm hoping it is soon.
I have a special in mind to keep the feed live as well as explain a little bit of why we've been gone. Please look forward to that, and thank you for asking. It means a lot to know that people are missing our silly little show.

Yeah, I realized later that the Joker blood was causing Batman to act differently, but I don't think it is handled as well as it could have been. Alfred, Nightwing, and Robin just act like Batman is acting normal. It seems like only the thugs notice a difference.
Oh, I will be going on a longer rant about the batmobile on the next episode. I feel like a crazy person, because everyone I talk to LOVES the batmobile and thinks it is the best part of the game. I can understand people liking it, but saying it's the best part of the game is lunacy to me. I have had the back tires of the car slide out from under me when I am driving in a straight line. The game design around the car is boring, lazy, and really not fun. Plus, it pads out the main story in a way that has really soured me on finishing it. If I have to do one more arena tank battle I may shut it off, even though I think it is the best game in the series since Asylum.
