The Giants figures are pretty cool. I only have the big tree looking one. There are some others that looked pretty neat, like a bee one and a genie one.

Yeah but don't expect to eat a mushroom and grow really big. I mean, that's just ridiculous. Whoever heard of a mushroom being able to do that to anyone? Now, if you ate a pizza, you'd turn into a ninja.
As long as you have at least one of each of a Skylander elemental representative, you'll be fine with most games. You'll need at least one Giant with Giants. In Swap Force, you'll need one of each Swap Force skill, too. And in Trap Team, you'll need an element traptanium for each of the villians' elementals. And in Superchargers, you'll need one of each of a land vehicle, sky vehicle, and water vehicle.
The only Skylanders I own are the ones that came with the review copies I got. I also have a silver Spyro I got at E3 one year, and I ordered a couple of the mini sidekick figures because they were free with food promotionals.
The only 'toys to life' I go crazy with are Amiibo figures. :)
OK here's how that works. After taking the vitamin, if you want to be super strong, just lift weights once and you'll be very strong. If you want to go fast, just drink a sip of espresso and you'll go super fast. For an invincible immune system, just drink a glass of orange juice. And you get the idea. :)
That's the beauty of pretend presents!
Pac-Man on the wall sounds cool.

I just got finished reviewing this at the site I write on. For the life of me, I couldn't get the hang of the controls, so I did not review it very highly. Since it was orignally supposed to be a Wii game, I think it might play better on the Wii than instead of the Wii U. But I'll never know because NIS cheaped out and just sent me a Wii U review code.
If I had a pet dog and a pet rabbit, I would consider naming them Sam & Max.
YOUR pretend present is a super vitamin pill that'll give you super powers for life!
Yeah I was disappointed with how TellTale has become. It just baffles me how so many people named The Walking Dead their Game of the Year when it came out. I guess that's why I was so pleasantly surprised with the new Adventure Time game since it was so much like classic TellTale stuff. By the way, I'm working on reviewing yet ANOTHER Adventure Time game!
YOUR pretend present is ALL the Skylanders! Yes, all of them! Even the silver Spyro I got at E3 one year!
