Mario Kart 7 really turned the series around after what I felt was a pretty terrible game with MK Wii. And MK 8 was better in every way. I have the most nostagia for MK DS, I think, but this one is objectively the best in the series.

I love getting trades but I do not like single issues. They're tough to sort and store and there are just so dang many of them.
I'm a big fan of things that begin and then eventually come to an end and are over, rather than going on forever...but it was too soon for Mega Man. There were so many more great stories to tell
I haven't heard of that series but I'll have to look it up.
Personally I prefer the contained levels of the Galaxy games but I had a lot of fun with Odyssey. Like you I didn't do the postgame stuff but I'll come back to it sometime...probably.
The problem with trying to build a library based on aggregate scores is that something might be objectively good but it just does not click with you. Telltale's Walking Dead game is universally loved but when I started playing it I did not enjoy it at all. Way too stressful. Wrong kind of stress for me to enjoy playing it (for example). But also some games with serious problems can really resonate with you even if it doesn't review well. Some people love the "Tales of" series but I doubt any of those games crack the top 10%. I love the idea of having a physical library of games but it really needs to be tailored to what you know you like (and I'm sure you have a good idea about that by now), not by what the internet has come to agree is the best. That's my 2 cents anyway.
Dude, that Batman sprite looks great.
I have Disgaea 3 thanks to PS+ but knowing that is so long makes me hesitant to play it. But, as always, I hear good things about the series.
This game is so great. I particularly remember that crazy battle in the sky where you fought a character your size as two ginormous creatures battled it out behind you. Great stuff. I do think it's funny how Bayonetta is basically a Nintendo character at this point.
I have the three-game Amnesia collection thanks to PS+ and always meant to at least play that first game but never got around to it. I honestly don't know if I'd like them or not.
