Hahahaha, the game is worth a try, but make sure you buy yourself something for tension headaches.

I haven't seen the Milon puzzle game, I'll have to check it out! It's strange how that series just didn't really last in the United States, but then again, looking at how difficult the NES game is, it's not too surprising.
The bane to my existence is ghouls n' ghosts, that game fucking RUINS me.
ActRaiser should be here in the championship round, I am disappoint, PixlBit.
The SMS version of Ninja Gaiden is so crisp - I hate to say it, because I loved my Nintendo, but the SMS was clearly the better 8-bit system, it just didn't have the gravity that the NES had, and while this NG game has no direct ties to the other games in the series, it's a hell of a game!
Seriously, you fucking NEEDED that NP if you wanted to even get anywhere - Joey's got the game down to a science. He beat Milon's Secret Castle twice in one WEEK one time. Not enough Excedrin in the world.
DON'T LET LEGACY OF KAIN BEAT ACTRAISER, HOLY SHIT.
I love Brann Dailor because he puts a lot of emphasis on the snare for fills - his single stroke rolls are fucking retardedly accurate - and that's something I have tons of respect for - I'm actually currently wearing my Mastodon shirt :P
Neil Peart is the man, though I must say George Kollias is one of the sickest drummers around nowadays - the guy is an absolute monster, so is Tomas Haake (probably my current favorite).
Come on ActRaiser! It's hands-down the best game in this list! Retro Rampage just did an episode on it because it's THAT good! I'm surprised DarkStalkers got knocked out already - it's such a good little fighter!
